 “West Linn Feeds the Hungry” is a citywide food drive involving all the citizens, businesses and civic organizations in West Linn, Oregon.


“West Linn Feeds the Hungry” raises awareness in our community about food insecurity and about how hunger affects children and adults across our state.


“West Linn Feeds the Hungry” calls attention to the historical drop in donations to food banks and food pantries after the winter holidays, even while hunger persists during spring and summer months.


“West Linn Feeds the Hungry” dedicates the entire month of March 2008 to collecting food donations. The generosity of West Linn citizens and businesses will send food and money to the Oregon Food Bank and the West Linn Food Pantry, where benefits will be appreciated throughout the year.


“West Linn Feeds the Hungry” is the first citywide food drive in Oregon’s history. We intend to set the bar high, so other cities in the Northwest will also step up and help the hungry.
